The TEFL Training Centre
Our approved training centre in Phuket has been operating for over 20 years and offers a TEFL course unlike any other course available in Thailand. We limit classes to a maximum of 10 trainees; ensuring adequate time can be spent with each trainee throughout the course. Why be one in twenty or more? Whilst classroom time is necessary, the most important part of any real TEFL course is the teaching practice. You really want to learn how to teach? Then you have to do it! We provide you with that opportunity.
The Phuket TEFL training centre is located in Patong Beach just two minutes walk from the beach, and the post office, banks and other amenities are all nearby. The classroom element of the course is conducted in a comfortable, air-conditioned room. Teaching Practice classes will be both one-on-one and group tuition, and will range from beginner to advanced students. (Thai Ministry of Education. School license No. PK1/2533. Thai Language Introductory Course & Customs
Ten hours of Thai language lessons are included in the course which will help to prepare you for your first month in Thailand and life in a foreign culture. These Thai lessons also give you an opportunity to experience the problems your students will encounter in learning a new language.
Thailand TEFL Course Accommodation
Accommodation is included in your TEFL course premium package. You will be staying at our own private hotel for 4 weeks. You are assured that accommodation booked through us will be clean, comfortable and secure.
All rooms are furnished with air conditioning, cable TV, fridge, shower room, room safe & laundry service. The hotel is superbly located in central Patong just 5 minutes from the TEFL training centre, beach, shopping and nightlife. Motorbike & jeep hire, tours and internet can be arranged via the hotel reception staff.
Your accommodation will be available 2 days before the course start date until 2 days after the course ends. Our hotel also has a small swimming pool and Free WI-FI internet access! (Please note a "High Season" accommodation surcharge of BAHT10,000 applies to Phuket courses beginning or ending in November, December, January or February)

Thailand Visa
You should apply for a normal 60 day tourist visa at a Thai embassy or consulate before you leave home. (USD50) This visa can also be extended in Thailand for a further 30 days giving you a total of 90 days. If you want to stay on to work in Thailand, the school employing you will provide you with the necessary documentation to apply for a non-immigrant B visa.
If you are making the application within 21 days of the expiry date on a 60-day tourist visa, you will not have to leave the country to do this, but in all other situations you will have to make a journey to a Thai embassy or consulate in a neighboring country to apply. A 'Visa Run' is common practice for most teachers in Thailand.
